Nikon D7100 is nikon newest DSLR it a Dx format camera and is successor Nikon's popular D7000. It packs 24.1 Megapixels, actual size of senor is 23.5x15.6 mm. Its a CMOS sensor and the interesting thing is lack of low pass filter covering the sensor.

Well back to D7100 ISO range is from 100-6400 and is expandable 25600.
It has 51 auto-focus points out of which 15 are cross type (much superior to D600). In continuous shooting mode it can take pics 6 frames per second which is quite good for camera this price segment. Max shutter speed is 1/8000 second with flash sync speed of 1/250 sec.
The viewfinder gives 100% coverage. It has a 1229k dot , 3.2" LCD screen at the back. It has dual SD card slots with a choice for overflow or backup mode. Its capable of shooting full HD 1080p videos at 24/25 and 30 fps and 1080i movie at 50-60fps.
Total length of video is upto almost 30 minutes. You can also get uncompressed HDMI output and record it on an external device. It weighs only 675 grams with dimensions of 135.5 x 106.5 x 76mm. Wireless adapter WU-1a is supported to control your camera with smartphone or tablet.
