Dell's 5K Monitor (UP 2715Q) in not worth buying

Dell release worlds first 5K monitor in September 2014. It looks very exciting on paper and sports 5120x2880 at 27 inches comes out at 218 PPI with a superb color accuracy of  99% AdobeRGB and 100% sRGB.

But is this display worth buying.
Probably not , and this is why

1)The monitor is way overpriced. Hp released its 5K display at half the price. The specs are almost identical. Check this comparison

2)In 2500$ you can get a 5K Imac. Its all in one. So you get a complete computer with good hardware, excellent display and Mac OS. Even if you are not a Mac user you can spend a little extra money and install windows using bootcamp.

3)Its unclear which desktops will support 5K at 60hz. Theoretically you can connect it to a desktop using two simultaneous display port but does windows or Mac OS support that?. I guess we have to wait to find the answer.
